Or the lights on the extremely high ceiling at work. This is at the entrance I use most on the campus...
First, one bulb was out. It partly amused me because I pictured myself stopping, pointing at the ceiling and saying very loudly to others coming in to work (whom I most likely wouldn't know - there are over 4,000 of us): "How the HECK are they gonna get UP there?!?! HAHAHA!!!" I might still do it one of these days.
Not only did the bulb not get replaced, but another one blew. Now they're just getting sloppy. Although it could have to do with the budget cuts and people getting laid off and the fact that there just isn't any money for those trivial sorts of things...
