I had other plans in mind for tonight, but my six year old's school had a movie ("Family Fun") night in their auditorium and she was so adamant about attending and so excited that I thought it would be nice to let her go. Which meant I had to go as well.
As soon as we got there, she found two friends and hung out with them the entire time (so it begins). Her little brother was just his easy-going, lovable self tonight, laughing with everyone and being excited about the movie... And so here he is laughing it up with the kid that was behind us (whom we'd never met).
The fun part was that they had to wear pajamas, bring blankets and pillows. All the kids tonight were very excited. More than they should be while watching The Lion King. But I know lots of kids are sleeping very well tonight!
What fun. I have just started a youth group with some others and we had our first movie night. Same idea, pjs and blankets. Our projector overheated and plan b was bingo. We didn't have bingo chips so we used candy corn.
