Escape from Reality

A.k.a. reading with the monsters (and one cat).

Not the best shot, can't even see I have a book... but I really do want to try and post daily again so here it is.

Earlier this month I did another reading shot to which I never replied to comments (due to my air-headedness, I apologize), but it was very interesting to realize I'm not the only one with a pile of books at my bedside... and very interesting to see the real book vs. Kindle comments! I for one need to turn paper pages, although I do understand the several advantages an electronic device has. But I am thankful that in my lifetime there will always be books made of paper.
We may not be able to see the book, but there's enough context that we can tell what you are doing. You've created a terrific mood here.

It is nice to see that the youth still likes to read. And that there are still books - where pages rustle, where are still light and shadow. Ultimately, we live in a world that we experience, love and also suffer through our senses.
Very nice shot!

@jack4john ah, it's Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None... read once a long time ago but I've forgotten too much of it!

@shylaine3304 oh! I am surprised you thought it was my kid - it's me hehe! From very far away and very little of me shown, I guess I could look slightly younger ;)
@jerome I appreciate you saying 'the youth' Jerome as it is me and I am definitely not in that bracket! ;) :) That being said, I can say that my 11 yr old daughter is a book monster herself, she reads so much... and thank you very much :)
