Farming

For months I have wanted to capture the essence of the rural community in which I live. I have envisaged a specific way I wanted to portray the farming community around me. However I have not been able to capture all the elements in the one shot.

Today I was extremely excited as I was able to capture the three main ingredients I feel speak to me about the farming industry around me - Tractors, Sheep and fields of wheat.

I think you must have an inkling as to what this machine going through the landscape does! This picture also tells of a future!

@maggiemae The machine going through the landscape is an irrigation sprayer. That is currently not in use. When it is in use, it rolls across the landscape and has water spraying out of pipes in between the wheel sections. It uses GPS tracking to move around the field and water the crops.
