Wallaby #1 by kgolab

Wallaby #1

Life has been quite challenging lately. I am struggling with things outside the home. They are impacting on my stress levels and I am trying to find ways to destress and look to the positive things in my life. There are so any of them, but often they get forgotten amongst the stressfulness of the day.

I have decided to use gratitude to reconnect with what is wonderful in my life. I have chosen to share three things I am grateful for each day - here, starting today.

I have seen similar things done by others on 365 and I thank you for the inspiration.

They say that by doing this we can rewire the brain to focus on the positive, making us more resilient and happy. I look forward to this :)

Today I am grateful for -

#1 - I am extremely grateful for the support and friendship extended to me by those of you here at 365. I love coming here and seeing what you have all been doing and taking photos of. Your images bring me joy and encourage me to look at the world a little differently. I also enjoy the encouragement and support given to me from you all. Thank you all so very much, it is greatly appreciated.

#2 - Today I am grateful for the opportunity to share our property with the abundance of wildlife that roams freely across our acreage. Everyday, as I drive down my driveway (which is 1/2 a kilometre long) I am blessed with seeing many wallabies that call our place home. This morning, in particular, I was greeted by a number of Wallabies, who enjoyed taking notice of me as much as I enjoyed photographing them

#3 - The Friendships I have and the people who offer their support in my daily life. Earlier this evening I was talking to a friend about my situation and they decided to hop to it and assist me without being asked. Stress levels dipped a bit right there and then.
A lovely bright eyed little wallaby. I hope that things settle down for you and ease your stress levels.

@merrelyn Thanks Merrelyn for your lovely comment and support. Did you notice the Wallabies hands? I liked how those black hands looked almost like a set of gloves.

@kgolab I hadn't noticed the hands but they do look like gloves :)

He is so beautiful tucked into the brush like that! The colors in the brush compliment him so well. Love those little gloves hands!

I hope you get to feeling better soon. It's tough to go through time like that and I love that you are going to focus on the good things in life. I think we could all use a little bit of good will towards ourselves when says are tough! And, so, in solidarity, I will join you in the 3 good things post. I have seen others doing this as well. ❤ @shannejw does this too. Great inspiration.
