Self Isolation Cleaning (06)

This photo is of my youngest daughters bookshelf. My youngest daughter was a late bloomer when it came to being able to read, so when she finally had that breakthrough moment, aged 7, the joy she felt was immense. This figurine was given to her by her older sister. It symbolises her love of books and reading.

Today I am thankful for...

The gift of reading. It allows us to learn, travel, upskill and achieve so many more things.
Beautiful photo, beautiful figurine and beautiful sentiment

Lovely sculpture and a great memorabilia. Until lockdown I used to sit almost everyday with my grandson to make him practice reading in Maltese. He reads almost perfectly but he doesn't understand every word in Maltese. He goes to a private international school where the language is English.

So thoughtful of her older sister to give her this sentimental figurine.

I love love love the dof in this shot, and this statue is a real treasure. I've received many Willow Tree angels as gifts, so I have about 2 dozen. I've never seen this one. Being a book lover, I now want this one! :) How wonderful that your daughter loves book and reading. Both are gifts, for sure.
