Among the many perks of working in D.C. is the proximity to all of the many hidden little gardens at the Smithsonian. In particular, the Haupt Garden near the Smithsonian Castle contains an outdoor avenue of tropical plants and flowers. These plumeria come as a lovely surprise to the visitors who find them.
@jyokota Thanks, Junko. I agree! They do look like a lei! My husband wanted me to use the word "lei" in my caption, but I couldn't think of a catchy way to do it.
Beautiful composition and detail in your capture of these exquisite flowers, and the droplets are the icing on the cake, fav, and congrats on the PP appearance!
