A cold November day at the Gettysburg battlefield. This statue is a tribute to Brigadier General Governeur Warren who arranged a last-minute defense of the Union's left flank on the second day of the battle, July 2, 1863.
Wonderful capture. We loved visiting Gettysburg several years ago. My husband and I thought the area had an eerie feel to it. It was a very moving place.
Four scores and seven years ago... How amazing to be in that battle field. Brigadier General Governor Warren had a great view. Great capture... I love history. FAV.
