Then the Elephant Hosta Charged In

Each Spring, the Elephant Hosta in my garden fairly explodes out of the ground Athena-like. One day there are little sprouts, the next day the leaves are elbowing each other out of the way.
Ours would be striped bare by snails .... Cool shot

Looking good. As Chris said, ours always gets eaten ragged by snails.

Don't you love it when nature just takes over? These are lovely...so green. Ours are not a bright a green as these. Fabulous light!
