Mathias Ham House by khawbecker

Mathias Ham House

A mid-Victorian house topped with an unusual octagonal cupola, built in three parts: the smaller older section on the left in 1839, the larger main building in 1857, and the side porch in 1940. The house was built by Mathias Ham, early settler, shipper, brick maker, lumberman and farmer.

They don't build houses like that anymore. So much character .

@lesip You're so right. It is a beautiful place. The interior is just as wonderful, but no photos allowed there.
