The back story is quite prosaic. They are two of the three figures in a piece of public art in downtown Denver. They are in a very busy spot surrounded by stores and complicated by shooting up into the bright Colorado sun. I've shot them several times, but this is the only time I've managed anything I liked. I confess it's heavily post-processed.
