At first I thought it was a medlar but that would have been a bit hard to eat so I guess it's a tomato?!

@quietpurplehaze, it's a tomato that should have been 3 tomatoes. A variety called Cherokee Purple. It's lavender, not red.

@tjchapa , it was very good! I think the Cherokee Purple tomatoes are my favorite. They are an heirloom variety that get to be very big and extremely juicy.
