Alligator Gar

One last posting from the Walter Anderson Museum. This is his painting of an alligator gar. It hangs in a frame, and it was only when I started to look at the photo closely that I noticed it is painted on 3 pieces of paper and joined together. He usually painted on paper and often in an artist's notebook.

Hadn't been to Ocean Springs in some years. We were on the Coast to deal with some family and business issues, but took a day to play tourist.
