Life is hard

I did not take this picture today! Today I was indoors doing laundry and writing Christmas cards. This is from a trip I did last year in Tanzania. The lion was lying beside our jeep, enjoying the shade under what seemed to be the only tree on the Serengeti. I loved his comb-over, a bit like Donald Trump's!

It was an amazing safari, Kimberly. We saw lots and lots of big predators. This one was less than six feet from us, and the top was always up on our jeep so it was a little frightening!
