Burning stick

Tonight we got to throw a stick on actual lava flow in Hawaii! We heard you could get up close enough to poke the lava with a stick but our tour guide said the lava represented one of their gods. He asked that we please not poke their god with a stick. So we were allowed to throw a stick on the lava and watch it burn...very cool!
