Day 253 Green Lake

In the Lava fields of the Timanfaya National Park, Lanzaroti, is this salt water lake. It is unusual for Algae to grow in salt water, it is the algae that gives it the green colouring.I like the textures of the lava surrounding the lake.

wonderful textures and color. love the different tones in the lava. Hopefully the algae doesn't cause trouble.. but it does make a lovely color.
