We have had about 40% of our yearly rainfall, in Auckland this January. With about 8 to 10 times our monthly rainfall for January in the last few days. roads washed out, slips and power outages. We were with power for 36 hours over the weekend. Global warming sucks.
You Aucklanders have had such a rough time of it. I find it hard to believe that we're only 55km south of you and although a lot of rain, we've not had the floods like you guys.
