Today I helped the kids make some birthday cards. The next few weeks are busy birthday weeks, both for family and friends. Being a scrapbooker (although never a card maker) I must admit I found it really hard to step back and let them put their random stickers all over the cards. I'm too much of a perfectionist, and wanted to take control myself. Perhaps I'll just have to make my own cards in the evening without them.. Ha ha.
Gratitude day 9 - I'm grateful for the creativity of youth, and the fact its not bounded by the rules we impose on things as we grow older.
very creative....i love making cards...it is an extention of my scrapbooking! I use scraps and pieces to embellish them! Usually makes a little less mess than scrapbooking!
