Today we had a little party for Aubrey's first birthday. It was going to be a picnic in the park, but the weather decided otherwise for us. Instead we took a little hike along the new trail, and then came back here for a picnic lunch indoors. Aubrey slept through the hike but loved the picnic. I had a very hard choice in picking a photo today, as I revisited the creek from yesterday and got a great long exposure shot. There was also a fantastic shot of Aubrey after eating his cupcake. But I loved this one, as he was opening his presents. What a beautiful smile, how can I resist.
Gratitude day 13 - I am grateful that our life here just keeps getting better and better.
