I feel like I've been neglecting my little cherub.. at least in terms of him not getting the limelight for a while. He's going through some very clingy times, and today he was decidedly grumpy. I keep telling my parents this isn't what he's usually like. Today was hot, I think the second to last day of "summer". The kids loved playing in the sprinkler and then a swim in the pool.
If I could have taken a photo of my bike adventure with Caleb for today's post I would have. But for one I didn't take my camera and for two... it was so dark I couldn't have taken a photo anyway. Our first ride together all season ended up being a trek through the near pitch black forrest pushing our bikes down a black diamond (way above my skill level as it was). We misjudged the amount of sunlight left, and I was riding near blind down a single track worrying about bears and cougars. But I'm here to tell the tale so it wasn't all bad!
WOW - Lesley you had quite an adventure . I know how you feel....it is hard to give all the children the right amount of attention all the time - i'm sure he feels your love 100% of the time ...this photo is so darn cute !
@kris76 Huh and he's still clingy. We did find two new molars have just broken through so maybe that's had something to do with it. @alia_801 Thanks, it's the biggest adventure I've been on for a while! @jquinn Thanks.
