A different kind of shot for today. This is at the top of the mountain, and it looks so cold and remote. I'm not sure what its used for. Today was super windy and cold, a bit like this hut. Hence my choice in photo.
well, once a guy was in a hut like that when i did not get off the lift and he came out pretty quickly and stopped the chairlift to get me out. that was the first time i rode on one at big white. i was a bit embarrassed.
i heard on the radio today that you are having a big weekend there on Red Mountain ( I think it is that one) in Rossland.

@glendq This hut is a little up from the top lift shack. There was a guy in there though, I think he might have been doing maintenance. I've seen a fair few people not get off the chair before, you're not alone!
Yes, this weekend is winter carnival and there is a lot going on. I think I'll miss a lot of it though was the kids have ski programs on this year.
I love that grey sky in behind. And the frozen cables and poles. So beautiful, especially with that lil pop of red:) I have a few similar shots from The Star.
