Here is today's theme shot - a car! It's a bit of a poor attempt at panning (moving the camera while taking the shot) but I was trying to get a shot for one of my photography assignments. Not sure if I'll use it, I'll see if I can get something better!
Again this is one of only a handful of photos I took today. It's very wet and miserable outside, although this morning was fun at the ski hill.
Definitely a good attempt. Panning is difficult. I took about 50 photos of a moving carousel one time and got two that were slightly in focus and not as much as your car.
It's horrible weather here too:( I need to work on my panning - mine are all just one big blur.
You'll be happy to know that I practiced some shooting in RAW yesterday (didn't post because they weren't very good) but I like what it can do! I noticed that some of the ones I'm positive I shot in RAW were in jpeg format once I uploaded them though....

I didn't really take many shots as I picked a bad spot to stand and the cars keeps stopping for people to cross the road. @pwallis Yay Paula, that's great. If you chose jpeg/RAW to shoot in you get a copy of each, so maybe that's what happened. That's what I have my camera set to so I can see quickly which ones are any good and delete the rest.
