Today we took Aubrey to the top of the mountain. It was a beautiful day, fairly warm and not too windy. He skied down to Paradise Lodge and hung out there for a while before skiing most of the way back down the hill. What a big day for a little guy.
Good job! How old is he? My husband and I love to ski and want to teach our kids before they get to old and it becomes harder to learn. I was 9 when I learned and my husband was 3.
@mariboo He is only 21 months. His sister learned last year when she was nearly 3 and Reuben was nearly 4 when he first tried snowboarding (although he did try a few hours skiing around 21 months as well!). We don't push it with him, if he feels like it he does a run or 2 if he's up for it. But because the whole family are doing it he is always keen to do it too. Most kids in town start around 2 - 4 (we live in a ski town so most kids learn to ski at a young age!). They are so low to the ground that their center of balance is perfect for skiing!

I love this! Your kids are such great skiers! My hubby still doesn't believe that Aubrey is the same exact age as our little guy and is doing this (I even showed him video...still doesn't believe it :) This is such a great capture...he will treasure it in the years to come.
