I took advantage of spending the day with Aubrey, and snapped a few photos while we were in town. I hope I don't get a reputation as the obsessive lady who carries her camera everywhere taking too many photos of her kids. This one is for one of my weekly assignment photos. I spent a while editing it and I think I've achieved the look I want.
What a sweet photo and memory. I think the processing is lovely, too. I just recently invested in a non-obvious camera bag/purse, so I can more easily carry my camera everywhere. And am slowly getting past the hesitation to just stop and shoot anytime, anyone, anywhere (though I will admit that my children are the subjects the majority of the time).
I know what you mean about the obsessive lady with the camera thing. I'm not in any of our family photos, so I'm guessing most people think my husband is a single dad...
and i am learning to say "who cares" if people think it is strange to take photos of everything.
I love how little he is, he needs to lift his arms to reach the bench. Beautiful shot.
