@ellimae Thanks Ellen. It was a composition assignment and this shot was the rule of thirds using negative space for the rest of the shot. I'm sure I could have got a little more on the intersection lines but I was in a confined space and I liked the way this looked anyway. So there you go :)
@kiwichick I thought so ..just checking! Is this like the first lesson you are taught ? I took photography schhool so long ago i actually forgot about the rule of thirds untill i got on this site and was kindly taught by an excelllent photographer who didnt mind really critiquing me...I think my photography has improved so much and now when i see others that dont use the rule i wounder if they know about it or not but am afraid to insult them...maybe this little conversation will encourage those unfimiliar with it to look it up!! :) Thanks for the Quick response!
@ellimae Well my tutor liked the shot at least. It's a fun rule to use when I remember and one they seem to teach in most beginner photography courses. @glendq@tinatmmc@4stories@amers79@beckyl@triciabauman Thank you all, I'm glad it worked out for a shot in a dark bedroom!
the composition suites me fine
