It was an exciting and very emotional day for my friend Darcee today. She took part in the Rick Hansen Man in Motion relay. For those of you who don't know Rick Hansen, he is a famous Canadian who suffered a spinal cord injury just before his 16th birthday. He's spent the last 25 years touring the world and raising awareness and money for spinal cord research. Darcee has herself recovered from a spinal cord injury which left her paralysed for a few months after a kayaking injury. We're very proud of you Darcee.
