The sun was shining and the first snow of the season came down amid the beautiful autumn trees. Such a magical moment (best viewed large). I felt like a little kid again. And I thought this was fitting for my push challenge of capturing something abstract. My challenge from Sally @salza was to take an abstract shot, be it something from the kitchen drawer or a picture of a building from an unusual angle. Anything as long as you are thinking out of the box!
@salza This wasn't the shot I had been thinking of, instead this one just came about. At least its in keeping with my leaves theme! I intentionally let the focus catch a falling snowflake and then I set the camera to manual. I really like the effect. Thanks for a fun week. I hope you've also enjoyed your challenge :)
@kiwichick This is gorgeous! I love the way you captured the movement of the snow and the colours are just stunning! I'm glad you enjoyed the push. Unfortunately I failed dismally to get another candid portrait but I will continue to try as I do need to get over my aversion to taking street and human shots! Thanks for the push, without it I would probably never even give it a try....
