I went out with my son to try and catch a nice sunset. Unfortunately there was no colour around. So I tried one slow shutter speed shot in the opposite direction. It was cold and windy and I overexposed it. However, after a little playing around I actually quite liked how it turned out! It just goes to show you shouldn't delete things until you've had a chance to edit them.
Interesting how you salvaged it if it was overexposed. I find that if I use a slow speed, my aperture cannot go high enough to cut out the light coming in which is the overexposure. This looks tropical and not cold and windy!
@kph129@maggiemae It looks warmer than it was, but those trees were moving a lot. It wasn't too badly overexposed and I'd shot it in RAW so it was all good.
