My thoughts go out tonight to the people of Fort McMurray in Alberta, and those in the surrounding areas. It's incredible how quickly a city of 60,000 people was evacuated and how fiercely the fire is burning. Many have lost their homes, belongings and literally escaped with just the clothes on their back. And the fire continues to rage.
I took this photo walking home with my daughter from a Variety show at the school. I don't like the crop but it's very late and I'm not going to change it now!
I hadn't heard about the fires until I read your post and looked it up. I hope the weather changes and allows the fire to be brought under control quickly.
