Day 5 of the One Night Stand Challenge - Architecture. The old Bank of Montreal Building is one of the more impressive buildings in our downtown. It was built in 1898 when Gold Mining was thriving here and was then one of 5 banks in town. It now houses some offices along with an art gallery, shoe shop, hair salon and real estate office.
