Tonight was the big end of year dance recital that the dancers have been working so hard towards. My daughter danced 3 times including two group pieces and a solo. It was amazing to watch, and it once again affirms what an inspirational teacher we are lucky enough to have. The grand finale were the Dancing Dad's. Another gorgeous image. Your girl has done well to appear in three performances on one night - and very well done to have a solo. The dancing dads video was pretty cool - bet the kids all thoroughly enjoyed it. Was your good man part of the dancing crew?
They do seem to use a lot of make-up these days on young dancers! She must have been good to be chosen to do a solo!! The moves the men made all look simple so they would not have much trouble with those. Getting it co-ordinated would mean a lot of practice!

My daughter worked hard this year with her dance, she does love it. @maggiemae It's mainly the bright lipstick, but usually she has no makeup. Just every now and then for the stage, because with the stage lighting it really does make a difference. And yes the men practiced for months to get this looking good. It was a big hit with the daughters and wives and quite different from most of the other dances during the evening. A fun way to finish the show.
