At the end of each swim meet there is a fun event. This meet they have a challenge called the Eliminator. My son and a few of his friends were chosen in one of the swim offs. 5 swimmers race a 50m freestyle and then the last one to finish gets knocked out. My son was expecting to get knocked out second, but made it to the final swim. Unfortunately his goggles fell when he dived in, and with slim odds already that really sealed his fate. This was just before his final swim. He was stoked to have made it to the finals, and it was the highlight of his weekend.
