Oh yes they did. This class of grade 1/2 kids spent the day walking from town (way below) up to the top of the mountain and back. What a great bunch, they did so well and I really didn't hear a single complaint the whole way!
That is so impressive - kids can do way more than some parents think they can… They would have been really happy with themselves. A very cool image of them all.
@dide It was quite the accomplishment. Their teacher has been taking them on regular smaller hikes throughout the school year, and today was the last full day of school. Luckily the weather was perfect and they knew they'd be getting a popsicle when they returned back to school ;)
