Today we travelled back to Wellington from Tokaanu. We stopped in at the National Army Museum in Waiouru, something I hadn't done since I was a kid. There was a lot to see and read, and while Mum and I wondered slowly around the kids played dress ups in the Kids Zone. We spent rather more time there than we'd meant to, getting back to Wellington just in time for the kids to go to Athletics at my old Athletics club.
I'm still trying to get through my many photos from this trip, but there isn't much spare time until the kids go to bed. It's been so lovely to be back home in NZ. We only have a few more days, then its back to the snow and the skiing/boarding.
