My friend and I hiked up to this stunning sub alpine lake. The trail traces an old mining route, a climbs though a beautiful hemlock forest. We gorged on huckleberries that grow along the path as you near the lake, and then had a refreshing dip after eating our picnic lunch. Such a fun day, I can't wait for the next adventure.
