Quince

My neighbour has two of these in the hedge between her garden and ours. Made quince jelly for the first time a couple of years ago - it turned out perfectly!

@tonygig Thanks Tony - yes the fruit is amazing. Had only ever heard of it in the Owl and the Pussy Cat to be honest. Saw the fruit when we arrived in New Zealand 4 years ago, and now am hooked on making quince jelly each season.

Sometimes the tree you would not think about has such beautiful flowers, amazing how from this a large furry fruit grows!!
