Rhododendron 'Sappho'

This starts out as a pinky-lilac bud, and opens up pure white with a dark burgundy speckled throat. You can see a bud on the top left side behind the flower. In my garden at home.

That's really beautiful. The dark centre is such a contrast to the white flower! ;)
