I had to look this up and watch a tutorial on Utube. I did embroidery when it was younger but don’t remember mother teaching me this stitch.

I had not heard of poke stitching either- but I am in a different hemisphere! So in looking it up I'd just call it regular stitching but it just sounds so much fancier this way. Great vintage poster!
