Interesting and amazed at how many books you read ....and then I read the comment above! I haven't even read one this summer holiday! Hope arm healing well.
I needed a good book so have ordered An unwanted guest. I read at least one book a week on my Kindle. I have to read at night in bed before I sleep. If it’s a cold wet morning I make a coffee and go back to bed for a read! I love retirement!

I like a good murder mystery! I like chick lit occasionally too - usually at busy times when I need a book you can read without any real brain power expenditure!
So when you don't like the book, do you just stop reading it and move on? I think I've only done that twice. And each time I skipped to the end just to see if it ended the way I thought it would. You know it's not well-written when you can figure out the end by chapter 2!
@olivetreeann I think I’ve only given up on a book a few times, mostly I keep reading in the hope that it will improve then I feel disappointed when/if it doesn’t.
