@pwallis Gold Class is going to the movies all posh like. All the chairs are all velvety and soft, footrests or some such thing, and you drink champagne and eat gourmet food and pay twice the price to see the same film you could have seen without all the schmance for $10. It's still on my bucketlist, so I iz now officially jealous of Kathy!
@pwallis@tabbycat its been on my bucket list for ages too and I'm glad I've been though doubt I'll do it again. The chairs are big and soft with footrests and they go back and there's only two side by side but it costs more than double the price of a regular movie and that's before you add the exorbitant cost of the food and drink.
@kjarn If you're near Darlighurst, go see a flick at Govinda's (next to the fire station upstairs) all you can eat veggo buffet and a movie for $14 (last I went, but I now see it's an exhorbitant $29..!!) the movie room is awesome. No chairs, just a double bed and a bazillion cushions on the floor! You gotta be first in line to score the bed though!
Happy late b'day K!! :-)
