Thank you for all your kind comments - to answer a few questions: I work full time in the week in general practice and run a minor illness clinic, I also work at the on call out of hours at the weekend either giving telephone advice or treating patients. My new camera is a cannon eos 550d - love it but bulky to carry around for everyday use. The book - I didn't really enjoy. Thanks again for taking the trouble to look at my pics.
@emb151 - you have a heavy workload for a nurse - are you just a regular RN? I'd love an SLR but yes they do get heavy with all the lenses etc - maybe one day. I enjoyed looking at all your photos, I'm loving this project.
@kjarn Yes, regular RN but also qualified as a midwife and a childrens nurse. I love this project and I really like having a glimpse into other peoples lives.
Moon shots are tricky!! It's actually easier to get detail when it's not quite full, as the craters are side-lit and more 3 dimensional. It also helps tounderexpise too! But then again, sometimes I like just a big bright moon just like you have here. Isn't it fun to explore?
