Oh, true story?
April 9th, 2011
@indiannie_jones - no its not but the author did a lot of research and it reads like it could be true.

Hmmm... I'll have to check that out. ...however, this 365 thing is taking up most of what time I would have for reading these days!

Lose every memory? Thought provoking.

I have short term memory issues, probably annoys others more then it annoys me as most of the time I don't know I have forgotten whatever it was.

I run a raid system and also backup to the internet, I would be devastated to lose all my photo and videos.

@natsnell -I think it wouldn't be too bad to lose your memory as long as you didn't remember that you had lost it. The big problem with early Alzheimers is knowing that you can't remember.

I would really be devastated to lose all my photos too but stupidly I do nothing to prevent it. What's a raid system?.

@kjarn Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID).
Basically my desktop computer has two hard disks that mirror each over. As long as both disks don't fail at the same time I can just replace a broken disk with a new one and it will re-sync with the good one and I can carry on without losing anything.

About a week before mother’s day we were out at the shops and Fiz was looking at clothes. I wandered round the shop with Xander and saw this cute t-shirt for him and got it as a Mother’s Day gift. Fiz saw me at the checkout but did not know what I had got. The other days she asked me what I got :-(. Sometime it upsetting sometime it’s just funny. I do worry how much it affects other and I’m not looking forward to OB taking advantage of it.

@natsnell - I really must do something about storing and backing up my stuff on the computer - I think I'll look into this RAID business, sounds good.

You made me laugh although I'm sure I wouldn't find it as funny living with you! I'm sure Owen will work it all out really soon :-)
