Nice new wall there Kathy. Silverwater? or the new hospital?

@swilde - it's the newish mental health screening unit at Silverwater.

@robinwarner I would have loved to have got a more dramatic shot but cameras aren't allowed - this is all I could get from the car park.
September 29th, 2011
Wow, that fence speaks volumes.
September 30th, 2011
Um..really? This is where you work? My mouth went dry at this sight. No worries about not getting a dramatic enough shot. This speaks volumes. If I ever landed there, I sure would want your friendly face and beautiful view of the world to be right there with me. For some reason this one shook me up, but it is a really evocative shot, especially since I have read your profile and know what you do for work. The screens, the rolled barbed wire and the cliff like abyss in the bottom left make this a stunning photo composition.

@lauriehiggins what an amazing response to my photo - thank you. I sincerely hope that you never ever end up in a place like this but if you did you wouldn't see me because this place is a maximum security male prison. I could probably come and visit you in the women's prison though :-)

I'm sure they have a special holding cell named in honour of Sue, Kathy...something like The Torture Room no doubt ;o) @swilde

Newish!? No expense spared on the architecture!! :-( Maybe they were going for functional.
October 6th, 2011
@natsnell its the newest part of the jail and yes functional is good when you're talking about security!
