Melbourne Cup

I know nothing about horses. I have a bet every Melbourne Cup and I choose the horse by its colour, its name or the jockeys silks. This year I chose by its name, a name that jumped out at me but as usual it didn't do very well at all.

I usually check the paper so I can look at the pics of the silks and choose the one I like the best lol. Didn't put on a bet this year but we watched the race - so close!!!

@jo365 that's my usual method too but being a mental health nurse working in a prison I really couldn't go past Unusual Suspect!
