Kathy, sorry so slow in catching on, but I just read your profile and what you do for a living! How long have you been a mental health nurse in a maximum security prison? And, on a scale of 1-10 (ten being highest), how do you feel about your job? It sounds very intriguing. I am a Registered Drama Therapist who did an internship at a minimum security women's prison and found it to be rewarding. My current work, however, is with older adults in long-term care communities.
@kareenking I've been a mental health nurse for over 30 years but only been working in the prison for the last 10 years. I probably give it an 8 out of 10 and the only reason I'm negative at all is the negativity/issues with management and co workers which has nothing to do with the prison or the clients, I love my job.
