Very pretty .. they look like geranium leaves and i read this summer .. trying to learn something about gardening - that the red circles are a sign of distress.
Nice shallow focus. Mine look the same with the red bands all year round, just the green changes from lime green in summer to paler yellow shade in winter.
Lovely two toned colours. Reminds me of chromatography. Do you remember that from school? Put some ink on a circle of blotting paper with a little cut piece hanging down into water. The water creeps up the blotting paper and then spreads out, taking the ink with it and reveals all the different colours and components in the ink. Always loved that!
