@leestevo these are the national numbers which are pretty good but NSW has done really well, over 90% of people have had one dose and over 70% are double vaxxed. I haven't seen my kids overseas for over 2 years and who knows when that will happen but I get to see my grandkids whole a few streets away tomorrow for the first time in 16 weeks.
Hope the easing of lockdown doesn't mean an increase in cases. I feel Dominic Perrottet is going a bit like a bull in a china shop out of lockdown instead of taking it slowly
Vaccinations should make a big difference. Cases may go up but hopefully the big impact will be a reduction in hospital admissions and life threatening cases. Glad for you all, lockdown is hard.
More good progress. I think that fears of increased cases will probably come true, as they did here in the UK, but the vaccination level should keep serious illness and death should stay relatively low. Almost all serious illness here is in people who for whatever reason haven't had the vaccine.
