@randystreat kids do dress up and there are costumes and decorations for sale in the shops but it’s not really celebrated here. I don’t know anyone who has ever gone trick or treating
Wow, that's interesting. Never used to be much of a thing here other than trick or treating, nobody dressed up or decorated houses. Absolutely massive now. I don't mind and really enjoy it.
We now get a lot of Halloween decorations and young Trick or Treat-ers. I quite like to see the little ones all excited and dressed up. I make around 50 treat boxes each year and they all go within an hour and a half
I passed a house with a giant web and spider outside on my way to town this morning. The 365 part of me noted it so I could go back on Halloween and snap. However when I walked back passed a hour later there was just a web and no spider! I'm not keen on Halloween so will definitely need to find someone else's decorations to capture!
In the past it was a much "milder" holiday here in the U.S. than it is now. I was really shocked to see young (and I mean young!) children dressed up in gory blood stained costumes the other day when I went to do some street photography. The blood and gore is way over-played here. And parents wonder why their children are afraid to sleep at night. Anyway- good catch!
