A medical thriller which I enjoyed, one of Robin Cooks better ones.
A general fiction that was a good read
A crime fiction that is a great start to a new series, I enjoyed it
A crime thriller that I found very confusing, too many timelines and characters
A general fiction that didn't move me in any direction, I didn't see the point of it
Interesting selection and I haven't read any of them. I've just finished Abundance (loved it) and am reading Demon Copperhead (loving it). Similar, very sad themes, so do not approach if you want cheering up!
I'm impressed that you finish the books you don't like. I was told to read as many pages as I was old and if the book didn't get good quit. I've found it took a few more pages than that.
@randystreat@olivetreeann I would never finish a book that I hated but I find it difficult to stop reading one that I don’t love. My main genre is psychological thriller and once the scene is set I always want to find out the end. This month there were two books that weren’t that good but I didn’t hate either of them so I finished both. The bottom one was my least favourite but it was for book club so and I always feel I need to read those in order to participate in the discussion. I do have hundreds of books and not a lot of time left so maybe I do need to become more picky about what I read .
