Still Bertha just won't quite let me see the joey in her pouch, but she certainly showed the pouch opening today. If only joey had been peeking out it would have been a perfect capture!
You can't tell in this photo but the wind was blowing gustily, and I had to stand for quite a while waiting for a brief break in the wind to take each snap. Probably a smart joey not wanting to poke even a nose out into a cold Autumn wind!
@hermann thanks Sally! I'm just over the border in far north NSW and that wind today had a big chill. apparently it's snowing down south brrrrrrr I wouldn't poke my nose out either
